Hi, my name is Wes Kendall, and I created this website. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. When I first started learning MPI, it was a difficult process. Furthermore, there is a lack of free information available for beginners to get started and naturally progress to the more advanced topics of MPI. This site was created for this very purpose – to give you all of the information needed to learn MPI and progress to advanced topics such as parallel I/O and hybrid parallel programming.

Any questions or suggestions for the website can be emailed to me directly at wesleykendall at gmail dot com. Feel free to comment on any of the lessons too, as this helps out others that are coming to the site to learn MPI. I hope this resource has been useful for advancing your career, research, or studies. Best of luck!
